Kuoni global leader in the travel industry uses Parsec’s services

Kuoni, one of the global leaders in the tourism industry has developed its strategic KOBRA Reservation System using Parsec’s technology and services.

Everything began at the end of 2002 when Ivan Walter, Kuoni FIT General Manager, had the vision to hire Parsec for the development of the a new reservation system for the Kuoni Group. Early in 2003, Parsec started the design of KOBRA working closely with Kuoni in the FIT headquarters in Zurich, and the first release of the system started operations later that year. Since then, new releases have been developed converting KOBRA in a key piece of the company’s operations in its touroperator business. In words of Ivan Walter “Parsec helped us to create a system which allows us to cater from the current market demand and to develop our business into the direction that we have defined in our strategic planning”.
